Dreaming of a suburban Christmas

Every Christmas I like to take photos of the Christmas decorations I came across in people’s suburban front yards.
These are this year’s photos. Everyone had gone to a lot of trouble to bring Christmas cheer to their suburb.
Santa’s hand is usually raised in a friendly wave, and the elves and reindeer are welcoming too.
These are some exhausted decorations ready to be put away after performing this year’s Christmas duties. When they’re put on display again next year, they’ll be well rested.
I came home to this.

German Christmas treats, oblaten, stollen bites and assorted pretzels. There are also extra delicious chocolate-coated stollen bites, which I’ll buy next year.

Merry Christmas for another year!
